The CensusCD 1990 Long Form in 2000 Boundaries is best suited for the researcher who is working with data sets in the 2000 boundaries and want to look at older data to determine trending patterns. It is ideal if you want block group, zip or town level data. If you want tract level data you may want to consider the NCDB. If you want the data normalized to 2010 boundaries than you should use the Census 1990 in 2010 Boundaries instead.
