PLANNERS PACKAGE PLUS
This package is ideal for academic researchers, corporations, planning groups, or government agencies that want to do forecasting and planning. We offer a warehouse of information based on the 1980, 1990, and the 2000 censuses, and the Estimates Professional 2008/2013. Sometimes it is sufficient to merely look at current estimates and projections, but often you need to review past trends in order to appropriately plan for the future. With the Planners Package Plus, you can explore population and housing trends from 1980 to 2013. You also get consumer expenditures and profiles for 2008 and 2013.
One problem with working with different censuses and datasets is dealing with changing geographies over time. With the Planner Package Plus, we have resolved this issue - all of the data is converted to 2000 boundaries. You can quickly and easily compare many levels of geography - county, tract, block group, and zip code - you can even run radii around a given coordinate. The products in this package span four decades for optimal time series analysis. The package includes:
Two key components for time series analysis are the additions of 1980 and 1990 data normalized to the 2000 boundaries - thus making time series analysis much easier.

The basic planners package has three decades of data from 1990, 2000, and 2008/2013. It is an excellent option for researchers and planners who only need data from more recent decades and do not want the 1980 dataset that comes with the Planners Package Plus. Like the Planner Package Plus, you get all available levels of geography including county, tract, block group, and zip code. This package includes:
PLANNERS PACKAGE FOR ETHNIC STUDIES
For researchers who need specific data on ethnicity and race broken-out by age and/or gender, you require an additional dataset - the 2000 Short Form. The Planners Package for Ethnic Studies is the basic Planners Package with 1990, 2000, and 2008/2013 datasets, plus the 2000 Shot Form. The 2000 Short Form is the only source of 2000 ethnic data with specific distributions of Hispanics and Asians by nation of origin. The Planners Package for Ethnic Studies includes:
