The Census 2000 Package is available as a combination of CDs and DVDs. You can buy the national version in DVD and CD that includes a single DVD with all of the 2000 Long Form plus 7 CDs of additional 2000 census data. The advantage of a single DVD version of Long Form is so users can run national level data and maps. You must have a DVD reader to read both CD and DVD.   If you do not have a DVD reader or only wish to purchase a single state, then order the package on CD. The national version comes on 11 CDs and a single state version comes on 5 CDs.
